I purchased it at an estate sale here on Martha's Vineyard last fall.
No one there could tell me anything about it.
I don't know if it is an official jacket or if it has been altered in any way.
I have not done any cleaning to it.
I was afraid to despite what the care label says.
I don't know if this sort of jacket can be dry cleaned or not.
Has some stains,spots,loose threads,frays,food oil spots,frayed/loose button hole threads etc.
The inside neck,cuffs,bottom edges and elsewhere have creases from wear.
White fold lines on sleeves.
Despite it being too big and heavy-( it weighs about 3 pounds);
I fell in love with it and had to have it.
I was hoping to wear it to No Filter Foxboro concert .
It would have been great to wear it but concert was rescheduled to July 4th weekend.
It was way too hot to wear it then.
I had to face the reality -It is way too big and heavy on me.
I hope someone else can enjoy it.
Some of the jacket details:
Has faceted crystals (not sure if they are plastic or glass) set into circular metal rivets ranging from red, mirror -like (for white?) & blue.
Rivets placed in a patriotic design inside tongue(on reverse) & elsewhere on jacket.
On reverse: Red lips with patriotic USA flag on tongue.
Back of rivets show on inside back & are flat.
Can be felt with but are not detrimental in my opinion.
Faded washed distressed look.
5 front buttons.
1 on each front pocket.
1 on each cuff.
Has typical denim, jacket collar that can be turned up if desired.
The Rolling Stones on upper right front & Steel Wheels Tour 89*90 on upper left front.Reverse has THE Rolling Stones (outlined in silvery sparkle) across back shoulder. Below that it has patriotic lips with reverse upside down USA flag tongue.
