This 2014 Ford Focus ST is a fantastic example of a new generation of
an iconic line of hot hatchbacks and rally cars. Given a direct
injection, turbocharged 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder heart, this
fantastic hatchback produces an output of 252 horsepower and 270
lb-ft. of torque to give it a previously unseen performance standard
for street versions of rally vehicles. Such a powerful engine in such a
rally-oriented car has to be mated to a six-speed manual transmission
with an aftermarket shifter that provides massive amounts of fun in
any gear and at any speed, so that's exactly what Ford has done. This
Focus ST has also been given a Ford "RS" cold-air intake and an
aftermarket cat-back performance exhaust system that produces a
note that perfectly matches the heritage and looks of the car.
To us, what's outside the car is just as important as what's inside it,
and this superb Ford Focus ST is no exception to this rule. This hot
hatchback comes with aftermarket 18" Versus alloy wheels and is
finished in a stunning Performance Blue Metallic paint scheme that
looks absolutely fantastic on the car. And, with its modernized
restyling of the previous generation of Focus ST, the car is extremely
good looking, especially with its tuned performance suspension and
aggressive lines. The interior of the Focus is also quite highly kitted,
and it comes equipped with an aftermarket Pioneer infotainment
display screen with Bluetooth and Navigation, "ST"-stitched leather
bucket seats, and a Vantop rear-view mirror with a built-in backup camera. In essence, this car not only performs like the street version of a rally car, it also looks quite a bit like one, too.
